ADVANCED BARBERING COURSES

WHAT KIND OF ADVANCED BARBERING COURSES DO WE OFFER?

The advanced barbering courses can be divided into both 3 days, and 5 days. All courses start at 10:00 am, and last till approximately 16:00 pm. After completing the course, you will receive an certificate of training! During these courses you will learn more about ‘The Schorem Way’ of barbering. The courses will allow you to get re-inspired and improve your barbering, and hairdressing skills. Additionally, the 5 days All-around course also provides you with knowledge regarding photography, and using social media in order to improve your social media presence.

PRACTICE WITH VARIOUS HAIRSTYLES, AND TECHNIQUES “THE SCHOREM WAY”

Our advanced barbering classes will give you the opportunity to become familiar with a variety of hairstyles, and techniques. These courses are accessible for everyone. Have you been working as a hairdresser or barber for years but want to learn new techniques? Or do you work at a hair salon, but want to learn more about men’s hairstyles? No problem! We are happy to welcome everyone at The Old School. It’s important to us that you get the most out of your career, and enjoy your work. Therefore, our instructors have the perfect knowledge to teach you various hairstyles, and cutting techniques. Think about beard cutting techniques, trimming, and straight razor shaving.

HOW ARE OUR COURSES DESIGNED?

During our courses, Schorem’s barbers will teach you all the tricks of the trade to become an advanced barber. They will also provide models you can practice on. Online you can see the availability of each course where you can register. Be sure to register in time, as there are a limited number of spots available for each course date! On our website you can find a clear overview of the course schedule. Additionally, the price of each course is listed on its designated page.

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT THE ADVANCED BARBER TRAINING

Each barber training or demo is given in English. However, there are summaries available in Dutch, and German. Do you speak another language? Feel free to bring your own translator or interpreter to the course. Furthermore, there are a few items you need to bring to the course yourself, which are:

– Cutting scissors;
– Blending scissors;
– Shavette;
– Neck duster;
– Barber cape;
– Clippers;
– Combs;
– Brushes;
– Blow dryer;
– And whatever you think you need more, just bring it.
– Voltage adapter (please take into account that the voltage adapter in The Netherlands is 220 volts).

Don’t have some of the items listed above? No worries! You can purchase them at our school, except for the voltage adapter. Furthermore, if you have to travel a long way to attend the course, we also offer the possibility to stay overnight in a hotel close to our training location. If you mention ‘Schorem’ you will get a discount on your room fee.
